Our Process

Customers contact us in many ways - phone, text, email, Facebook, webform, etc. No matter how you get in touch, we'll call you back to gather basic information about your project. We'll ask for your name, address, email address, phone number, and the best time to reach you.

This conversation will take about 10-15 minutes. Our goal is to gain a thorough understanding of your needs. 

Following the call, we will send you an email requesting the necessary measurements and photos. Each project is unique, but generally, we will need the following:

1. Height of the basement
2. Distance from siding at foundation level to the ground

We will also ask for photos of the interior and exterior spaces where we will be working. In most cases, this information is sufficient for us to put together a proposal. If any additional details are needed, we will request them at that time.

Once we receive your measurements and photos, we will provide a written proposal by email. Our office will call to make sure you received it and to go over any questions. You can review and sign electronically to accept. You'll be asked to pay a $750 scheduling deposit and will receive a copy of our insurance and registration. 

Once we received your signed proposal we'll make a welcome call to go over next steps with you. From there, you'll get set up with an owner's portal where you can follow your project in real-time. We immediately start the permit submission process so that your project can begin as soon as possible. 

We use a project management platform called Buildertrend, which is accessible via phone app or online. All communication is centralized in Buildertrend. You can choose text, pop-up, or email for notifications. You'll also find the schedule, photos, selections, invoices, and payment processing. Everything for your project is centralized in one place.
